Thinking back to when Star Badminton Institute was laid out, we had such countless players, youthful and grown-ups, who were not exactly acquainted with badminton as a serious game, yet they had a fantasy to be a piece of something huge and become famous as competitors. Our institute was established on the ground rules that we empower players to accomplish that fantasy. Throughout recent years, we have had the option to prepare players that are overflowing with ability and, with the assistance of our mentors, have had the option to achieve their fantasies about contending in regarded contests. It is for sure satisfying for us to observe that the difficult work and sweat of the players is compensated through their successes!

Some Features and Facilities at Star Badminton Academy

Star Badminton Academy has been approved by West Bengal Badminton Association.

Three different programs according to players – Juniors Coaching Program, Adults Badminton Program and High-Performance Coaching.

Huge facility that has the ability to accommodate 300 students at a time.

We have 6 wooden badminton courts for players to train. Our coaches ensure that only 8 students at a time are training in a single court. This ensures that every player gets the complete attention of the coach.

We have an air-conditioned gymnasium for the comfort of all our players.

If you are traveling from far or other states, then we offer residential space for our players. At the moment, we can accommodate 60 players in the academy.

We have a refreshment area and cafeteria for all the players and the coaches. They can sit, relax and socialize with co-players.

Star Badminton Academy also has a sports equipment shop where we offer high-quality sports equipment, so players don’t have to worry about purchasing their equipment from elsewhere.

We understand that players may have other chores and responsibilities and may not be able to attend the training program in fixed slots. Hence, we offer training programs up to 10 hours a day, so players have the opportunity to opt for flexible session timings for their training.

Our Badminton Coaching Center in Kolkata is equipped with spacious changing rooms for men and women. The changing rooms also have washrooms within for the ease of players to freshen up and change.

We help the players to participate in different competitions both at the state and national levels. Some competitions that our players have recently participated in include CISCE Regional Sports and Games, West Bengal Junior Doubles State Ranking Badminton Tournament, West Bengal Sub-Junior Doubles State Ranking Badminton Tournament, the 84^th Senior State Championship, and more.
